Dubonnet Cocktail
A Prohibition-era classic. Gin and Dubonnet, a French wine-based aperitif, stirred with Angostura bitters. Dry, botanical, and slightly bitter. Simple, elegant, and dangerously easy to drink.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz gin
- 1 1/2 oz Dubonnet
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Instructions
- 1. Combine gin, Dubonnet, and bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
- 2. Stir until well-chilled, about 20 seconds.
- 3. Strain into a chilled martini or coupe glass.
- 4. Garnish with a lemon twist.
