Marry Me Shrimp Pasta

The seafood version of TikTok's marry me trend -- succulent shrimp seared with smoky spices, then tossed with sun-dried tomatoes, heavy cream, white wine, and Parmesan over pasta. Creamy, romantic, ready in 25 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Chili flakes to taste
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 3/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 8 oz dry pasta

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve a splash of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Season shrimp with oregano, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Sear in a hot pan for 1-2 minutes per side until just cooked. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, saute garlic and shallot until soft and fragrant. Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1 minute. Pour in white wine and let reduce for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add heavy cream, paprika, oregano, chili flakes, and sun-dried tomatoes. Simmer until slightly thickened, then stir in Parmesan. Add pasta and a splash of pasta water, toss until creamy. Return shrimp to the pan and serve immediately.
