A fancy-but-cheap date-night dinner gone viral — tender shrimp and linguine tossed in a silky lobster bisque sauce that tastes like a $40 restaurant dish in 15 minutes.
Ingredients
8 oz linguine pasta
1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 container (10 oz) lobster bisque
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Cook the linguine according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and saute the garlic until fragrant, then add the shrimp and cook 2 minutes per side until pink.
Pour in the entire container of lobster bisque, bring to a gentle simmer, toss with the cooked linguine, and finish with fresh parsley.
