A Prohibition-era classic from Harry's Bar in Paris — rum, brandy, Cointreau, and lemon juice. Essentially a Sidecar with a rum-brandy split. Potent and sophisticated.

Serves1 cocktail

Ingredients

1 oz white rum
1 oz cognac
1/2 oz Cointreau
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
Lemon twist for garnish

Instructions

1. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.
2. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
4. Garnish with a lemon twist.
