Flaming Dr Pepper

A legendary party trick cocktail. A shot of amaretto and high-proof rum is lit on fire, then dropped into a glass of beer. Tastes remarkably like Dr Pepper. Handle with care and never drink while still burning.

Ingredients

3/4 oz amaretto
1/4 oz 151-proof rum (Bacardi 151)
6 oz light beer (lager)

Instructions

1. Pour the beer into a pint glass and set aside.
2. Fill a shot glass with amaretto.
3. Carefully layer the 151 rum on top of the amaretto.
4. Ignite the rum with a lighter.
5. IMMEDIATELY drop the entire shot glass (flaming) into the beer.
6. Drink quickly before it overflows. SAFETY: Never drink while the flame is still lit.
